Size: Skull 7.6 centimetres long. Total body length
at least 80 centimetres long.
Known locations: China - Guizhou Province.
Time period: Ladinian of the Triassic.
Fossil representation: Almost complete skeleton.
Described in 2012, the original describers of Qianxisaurus described the holotype as a basal eosauropterygian.
