Size: Estimated about‭ ‬4‭ ‬meters long.
Known locations: China‭ ‬-‭ ‬Fengjiahe Formation.
Time period: Sinemurian-Toarcian of the Jurassic.
Fossil representation: Partial skull and post cranial skeleton as well as well over a hundred osteoderms.


       Yuxisaurus is a genus of armoured dinosaur that lived in Asia during the Jurassic.‭ ‬Quadrupedal and a browser of low growing vegetation,‭ ‬Yuxisaurusis considered to‭ ‬be a basal member of the thyreophoran dinosaurs.
