Pliobatrachus
is a genus of frog that lived in Eastern Europe. Most of the
Pliobatrachus fossils so far recovered date to times
during the
Pliocene, though at least one from Hungary is believed to have been
from the early Pleistocene.
Relatives
of Pliobatrachus include Palaeobatrachus
and Albionbatrachus.
