individuals.
Aleodon
is a
genus of cynodont
that lived during the Triassic. The type species
A. brachyrhamphus is at the time of writing known
only from Africa,
whereas the second species A. cromptoni is known
from South
America. Aleodon existed a time when the
continents of South America
and Africa were still joined.
